Sarpong Ohene Frempong is currently the Country Lead for Firstcode Rwanda Ltd, a subsidiary of Firstcode Management Services, where he is currently a Director. Sarpong has several years of experience in business development with a focus on corporate compliance.

Sarpong possesses a profound understanding of constructing robust governance frameworks for corporate entities. His expertise encompasses efficiently managing compliance audits and implementing new compliance strategies in collaboration with various regulatory bodies in Ghana, including but not limited to the Petroleum Commission, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), Ghana Free Zones Authority (GFZA), Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Before joining Firstcode, Sarpong served as a Research Director at Youth Empowerment for Africa, an organization dedicated to youth causes that he co-founded. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role within a team of seasoned professionals responsible for executing numerous impactful social programs throughout Ghana, generously supported by UNICEF, GIZ and the Economics Department of the University of Ghana.

Sarpong holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (Project Management) from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Arts degree as well.
