King Kojo Sarfo has dedicated much of his professional life to working in Africa, handling finance, compliance, and project management functions in Ghana and Nigeria. As a management consultant, he has focused on market entry and facilitating foreign direct investment into Africa for the past ten years. His work has been instrumental in advising and supporting investors who are either setting up or expanding their portfolios. He has played a crucial role in the success stories of established brands in various subsectors, including agribusiness, petroleum, construction, manufacturing, and mining-related services.
King has gained relevant experience in his professional roles at Westmont Hospitality Group, Firmus Advisory, and Eazy Capital. Prior to these, King enjoyed a successful career in international development, mostly on social and economic governance projects with organisations such as HelpAge International, German Development Corporation, Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF). He also worked on public budgets and economic governance projects for the Ministry of Finance and the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Strategic Policy Document for the Ministry of Trade.
King holds an MSc in Development Finance, a Bachelor of Arts, and a Law Degree. He is currently a board member of Saigon Development Company, Enterprise Bureau, and FMS Trustees. As the Managing Director of Firstcode Management Services, a company he founded 10 years ago, King leads a team of professionals in Ghana and Rwanda who provide market entry, outsourcing, and advisory services to indigenous businesses and investors seeking to do business in Africa.
